CURL DAZE RECAP 5.17.12

Hi Beauties!

On Thursday, May 17th over 200+ beautiful naturals gathered in the trendy Meat Packing District at the underground ultra exclusive late night hide out spot, Stash Lounge to celebrate natural hair! Curl Daze was not your average natural hair meet up event. We brought women together in an environment that gave them an opportunity to not only network and gain new insight on their natural hair from similar women but to also take a night off and LET LOOSE! 

I had an incredible time meeting beautiful new faces and checking out all the DOPE natural hair and fashion styles! The night included sipping on specialty curly cocktails
by Ciroc, and dancing to DJ LEKS party anthems all night! 

Congratulations again to our winners taking home prizes like a Karen’s
Body Beautiful set, Kinky Curly set, Tuskegee Airmen Broadway show
tickets, the coveted Heutiful Steamer, and much more.

I want to take the time to send special thank you’s to my event partners Antoinette and Shanti of Around The Way Curls! Their passion for Curl Daze was evident from the beginning and if It wasn’t for them Curl Daze would not have been this huge success! For that…I say THANK YOU!
