Banana pudding holds a special place in the hearts of many, transcending generations and cultures with its simple yet irresistible charm. Rooted in Southern tradition, this dessert has become a staple at potlucks, family reunions, and holiday feasts alike. I

Ingredients

  • 1 box Instant Vanilla Pudding
  • 1 box Instant Banana Cream Pudding
  • 3 cups Whole Milk
  • ½ can Condensed Milk + more to taste as desired
  • 1 block Cream Cheese room temp
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Bean Paste + more to taste
  • 16 oz home made whipped cream 16 oz box of heavy whipping cream + sugar to taste or store bought cool whip
  • 1 pack Chessmen Cookies
  • 1 box mini Vanilla Wafers
  • 1 pack thin Golden Oreos
  • 4 Bananas sliced + more to taste
  • Store bought caramel dressing

Instructions

  • In a stand mixer, combine pudding and milk and whisk on low until thickened, remove and set aside 
  • To the stand mixer, add room temperature cream cheese, condensed milk and vanilla extract. Whisk on low to combine until smooth. You can also add powdered sugar and caramel to further intensify the sweetness if desired
  • Add pudding mixture to the cream cheese and folk to combine
  • Add you combined homemade whipped cream to the mixture and fold to combine 
  • To your serving bowl, add pudding mixture, then a layer of cookies, then a layer of bananas and more pudding mixture
  • Continue this layering until container is full 
  • To finish, crumble some vanilla wafers on top and dress with dollops of whipped cream and more cookies as desired 
  • Add caramel for an extra pop of flavor
