Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef 80/20 blend for best flavor
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp all purpose seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 6 Hawaiian slider buns
  • 6 slices of cheddar cheese
  • Lettuce tomato, pickles, and onions for topping if desired
  • Ketchup mustard, and mayo for serving if desired

For Sweet Potato Fries

  • 1 bag of store-bought frozen sweet potato fries
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for coating
  • Fresh parsley for garnish optional

Instructions

  • Heat your griddle to medium-high. A hot griddle ensures a good sear on the ground beef.
  • Place the ground beef straight from the container in it's full shape on the hot griddle. Cook in the rectangular shape about about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until nice crust is visible.
  • Slightly flatten the ground beef for even cooking using a grill press
  • Season the ground beef to taste and add oil to the griddle if needed
  • Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of the ground beef during the last minute of cooking, allowing it to melt perfectly.
  • While the cheese melts, slice the buns horizontally without pulling the buns apart individually
  • Place a cheesy patty ground beef on the bottom side of the buns then place the other half the buns on top.
  • Use your griddle spatula to individually cut the sliders
  • Serve warm and add your favorite toppings like lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onions. Serve with ketchup, mustard, and mayo on the side.

For Sweet Potato Fries

  • Preheat the griddle to medium-high heat. Lightly coat the griddle surface with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  • Spread the frozen sweet potato fries in a single layer on the griddle. Cook according to the package instructions, typically around 15-20 minutes on medium heat.
  • Turn the fries occasionally to ensure even cooking. For extra crispiness, press down gently with a spatula during cooking.
  • Once the fries are golden and crispy, remove them from the griddle and season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces.
