Ingredients

  • 2 packages of Sweet Cream Pancake Mix from Pioneer + water

For cinnamon sugar topping

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

To serve

  • Cream cheese frosting store-bought
  • Powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Prepare the pancake mix according to the box instructions.
  • In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup sugar, 1/3 cup heavy cream, 1 tsp vanilla extract, and 1 tbsp cinnamon.
  • Heat a griddle or skillet over medium heat and pour the pancake batter onto the cooking surface.
  • Drizzle the cinnamon sugar topping onto the uncooked side of each pancake in a swirl pattern.
  • Once bubbles start to form on the surface of the pancakes, flip them to cook the other side.
  • Remove the pancakes from the griddle and let them cool for a minute.
  • Drizzle cream cheese frosting over each pancake and dust with powdered sugar.

Notes

Loosen the storebought cream cheese mixture into a glaze by adding a couple tablespoons of heaving whipping cream and warming up for one minute in the microwave. Mix until glaze like consistency is formed.
