Ingredients
1package12-count Hawaiian sweet rolls
1/2lbthinly sliced deli hamturkey works too, don't overthink it!
6slicesAmerican cheeseor your favorite cheese!
4tbspunsalted buttermelted
2tbspwhole grain Dijon mustard
1tbspWorcestershire sauce
1tspgarlic powder
1tbsplight brown sugar
1/2tsponion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Light mayo for the sandwich if desired
Instructions
Step 1: Prep the Rolls
Preheat your oven to 350°F. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally (keeping them connected) and place the bottom half in a greased baking dish.
Step 2: Layer It Up
Add mayo to the rolls and layer the ham evenly over the rolls, then add the cheese slices on top. Place the top half of the rolls back on.
Step 3: Make the Glaze
In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
Step 4: Pour
Brush or pour the butter mixture evenly over the sandwiches, making sure to get it into all the nooks and crannies.
Step 5: Bake to Perfection
Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 5-10 minutes until golden brown and gooey.
Step 6: Serve & Enjoy
Let them sit for about 5 minutes before slicing and serving. Trust me, they go FAST!
