Ingredients

  • 1 4 lb Whole Foods Market Cooked Spiral Ham
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Whole Foods Market Organic Honey
  • 1 can of pineapple slices with juice reserve some slices for garnish if desired
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves or allspice
  • 4 sprigs fresh rosemary

Instructions

  • 1. **Preheat**
  •    - Preheat your oven to 375°F
  •    - To a baking dish, add the ham and pour apple juice on the bottom of the pan. Add fresh rosemary and tightly cover the pan with foil and bake according to package instructions until ham is heated through, about 1 hour and 20 minutes for a 4 pound ham or 20 minutes per pound
  • 2. **Create Glaze:**
  •    - In a small pot on medium heat, combine crushed pineapple and juice, brown sugar, honey and ground allspice. Stir until all ingredients are well incorporated and glaze has thickened.
  • 3. **Apply Glaze:**
  •    - Uncover ham and generously brush the glaze over the entire surface of the spiral ham, ensuring it seeps into the scored areas. Increase heat to 425 degrees and continue to bake until ham is sticky and golden brown to your liking, this might require a broil for a minute or 2 at the end
  • 4. **Pineapple Garnish:**
  •    - Decorate the ham by placing pineapple slices over the glazed surface, securing them with toothpicks if necessary.

Notes

I like to add the ham juice from the bag to the glaze, but that's optional!
