- 1 Sheet of Puff pastry store-bought is your best friend here!
- 1 container of Boursin cheese grab any flavor they have on hand
- Bacon jam to taste you can use homemade or store-bought
- 1 Egg for the perfect golden pastry finish
Prep the Puff Pastry – Let your puff pastry thaw if frozen, then roll it out slightly to make sure it’s large enough to fully encase the Boursin.
Assemble – Cut the puff pastry into individual squares, about 24 or enough to fit into your mini muffin pan, then add a tbsp dollop of cheese into the puff pastry followed by a tsp of jam
Egg Wash – Brush the edges of the pastry with a beaten egg to give it that beautiful golden color when it bakes.
Bake – Pop it in the oven at 400°F for about 15-20 minutes, or until the puff pastry is perfectly golden and flaky.
Serve – Let it cool for a few minutes before serving so the cheese sets slightly but is still gooey and delicious when you cut into it.
