3 Ingredient Pumpkin Cake

If you’ve ever felt intimidated by baking, this recipe is your new best friend. There’s no measuring of multiple ingredients, no worrying about over-mixing or under-mixing. Simply combine the three ingredients, pour into a pan, and bake. It’s so easy, you might find yourself making it weekly throughout the fall season!

Ingredients

  • 1 Box of Duncan Hines Spice Cake Mix
  • 1 15 ox Can Pure Pumpkin Puree Unsweetened
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • Cream cheese frosting is optional but highly recommend!

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • To a bowl, combine the cake mix with the pumpkin puree and melted butter
  • Mix until well combined
  • Pour mixture into a greased baking dish and bake according to box instructions as per the type of container you use to bake, use a toothpick to check for doneness
  • Allow the cake to cool completly before cutting or icing
  • Ice with cream cheese frosting, optional!
