Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 1 can of crescent rolls
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers red, green, or both
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Prepare the Crust: Preheat your oven to 375°F. Roll out the pie crust and press it into a 9-inch pie dish. Unroll the crescent rolls and layer them on top of the crust, gently pressing to form a seamless layer.
  • Cook the Filling: In a skillet, sauté the diced peppers and onions until softened. In a bowl, whisk the eggs with salt and pepper.
  • Assemble the Pie: Sprinkle the cooked bacon, sautéed vegetables, and shredded cheese evenly over the crust. Pour the whisked eggs over the top, ensuring everything is evenly distributed.
  • Bake: Place the pie in the oven and bake for 40 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the crust is golden brown.
  • Cool and Serve: Allow the pie to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
