Prosciutto Wrapped Mozzarella Egg rolls

These crispy prosciutto wrapped mozzarella egg rolls are the perfect salty, cheesy appetizer. Easy to prep and impossible to resist!

Ingredients

  • 6 mozzarella string cheese sticks or fresh mozzarella cut into logs
  • 6 slices of prosciutto
  • 6 eggroll wrappers
  • Small bowl of water for sealing
  • Cooking spray or a bit of oil for air frying or pan frying

Instructions

  • Wrap the mozzarella: Lay out one slice of prosciutto and place a mozzarella stick on top. Roll it up tightly.
  • Assemble the eggroll: Place the prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella diagonally on an eggroll wrapper. Fold the sides in, then roll it up tightly like a burrito. Use a little water to seal the edge.
  • Pan fry: Add a thin layer of oil to a pan and crisp on all sides until golden and bubbling.
  • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce. I like mine with warm marinara or a spicy garlic aioli.
