Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough 8 ct.
  • ¼ cup baking soda
  • 1 egg plus 1 tablespoon water for egg wash
  • Coarse salt

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cut each biscuit into quarters to create bite-sized pieces.
  • In a large pot, bring 6 cups of water to a boil. Add the baking soda and stir until dissolved.
  • Carefully drop the biscuit pieces into the boiling water in batches. Let them cook for about 20-30 seconds, then remove with a slotted spoon and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and 1 tablespoon of water to create an egg wash.
  • Brush each pretzel bite with the egg wash and sprinkle with coarse salt.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes on the middle rack or until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving

Notes

Serve with nacho cheese or mustard as desired!
