Hi Beauties!!
As many of you know, yesterday I posted my very FIRST YouTube tutorial for how I achieve my flat twist look! I’m so excited about this new experience! Thank you to everyone who subscribed, commented and showed me love on my first video! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!
OK, and now for my product review! The reason I used the Jane Carter Wrap & Roll was by complete accident. I was suppose to use my go to staple product, which is the Nairobi Wrapping lotion. However, I realized that my bottle was almost done and I needed a new bottle to do my entire head. I ran out to one of the beauty supply stores in my neighborhood and they didn’t have it. I went to like 5 other stores and they didn’t have it either. I live in NYC, and I am completely shocked that I wasn’t able to find a product that is carried in the majority of hair stores around the country.
I was getting really discouraged when I decided to just chat it up with one of the sales associates in the hair store and try something new. I remember hearing something about Jane Carter Solutions, but I didn’t know if it was something that would work on my hair and give me the same results as my Nairobi. I decided to just give it a shot because the ingredients were all natural and the packaging was pretty. lol
Come to find out my hair LOVES this stuff. It smells phenomenal and goes on my hair well! When my hair dried and I took out my flat twists my hair was soft and extremely touchable. I would highly recommend this product! (It’s worth trying for $6 and you get A LOT of product for your money.)
This is from the official Jane Carter Solutions website: “Wrap & Roll is the best soft mousse, setting and wrapping product available on the market today. It dries clean and soft without leaving any residue. Great for dry color-treated or damaged hair, the natural glycerides, essential oils and moisturizers leave your hair soft and shiny. Cut dryer time in half by applying Wrap & Roll liberally to wet hair, then wrap/set and dry as usual or let it dry naturally.”
Check out the CEO herself talking about this amazing product!
The Good:
- The price is fantastic for how much product you get
- I love the clean natural smell
- All natural ingredients
- No flake or build up like most wrapping lotions
- NO CRUNCHY feeling like other mousse products
- You can find it locally in most beauty supply stores and even Target!
The Bad:
- The hold isn’t as strong as my Nairobi, so i don’t think I will be able to achieve my 5-7 day hair

Have you tried anything from the Jane Carter Solutions product line?? Let me know!!
xoxo,
Did you also use a leave-in? I tried this once with Giovanni's Direct leave-in and wasn't thrilled with the results. It could just be a bad combo so maybe I'll give it another go. Thanks for the review 😉
