Product Review: Hair Rules Volumizing Hair Spray

I am back with yet another product review! This time something a little different. I have never been a fan or avid user of hair spray’s , but I was recently introduced a Volumizing Hair Spray by Hair Rules. 


For my birthday, I went to Hair Rules salon to have my hair cut and straightened and I’ve been rocking it straight for almost a week now. 


Today, I did a sleek half up, half down style with a little help from this hair spray. I haven’t re-straightened my hair since getting it done almost a week ago, so I have a few fly-a-ways and frizz all around. To help eliminate some of those fly-a-way’s, I used this hair spray for the first time.


Product Claims:
This unique, multi-textural, all-purpose hairspray with superfine dry-mist technology protects against humidity and is great for building volume in straight, wavy or curly set styles without stickiness. Strong enough to build hair high and create big, beautiful, kinky curly styles.


Ingredients:
SD Alcohol 40-B, Hydrofluorocarbon 152a, Butyl Ester of PVM/MA Copolymer, Octylacrylamide/Acrylates/Butylaminoethyl Methacrylate Copolymer, Water, Aminomethyl Propanol, Dimethyl Stearamine , Fragrance, Glycerin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Panthenol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Lactamide MEA Free of Parabens, Sulfates, and Phthalates. WARNING: FLAMMABLE. Contents under pressure. Avoid spraying near eyes. Do not store or use near fire or sources of heat. Protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures above 120 f/50c. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Do not spray on naked flame or any incandescent material. Keep out of the reach of children. Use only as directed. Intentional misuses by deliberately concentrating and inhaling the contents can be harmful or fatal. Do not use on broken skin. Stop use if rash or irritation occurs consult a physician.


Usage:

To apply, shake well before use, hold about 10 inches away from hair and spray in even strokes. Use all over to set style or as needed to refresh hair.

The spray is light-weight and works wonders! I would normally slap on a little gel in these circumstances but I’m trying my best to decrease my usage lol. I loved that there was no stickiness (that most hair sprays have) and that there was no toxic smell. My hair was not hard or sticky after application. It gave my hair a light hold and a very pretty shine. I would definitely use this spray again and recommend it to others!
