Hi Beauties!
My summer hair time regimen has changed drastically to include more light-weight all natural organic products that won’t weigh my hair down but still give me the moisture I need in this dry heat! I’m all about traveling and having fun this summer, so I don’t want to spend too much on over priced all natural “organic” hair care products (we all now how pricey those can get).
Most of my products have been coming from the Shea Moisture collection. I absolutely love that the products are AFFORDABLE and have QUALITY ingredients. I was so in love with the results of my last experience with Shea Moisture that I decided to give you all a chance to WIN BIG with this giveaway.
Shea Moisture was gracious enough to sponsor a summer time natural hair giveaway right here on Asiliglam.com.
What’s in it for you?

I recently performed the big chop. Recently as in 6.22.12! I plan to rock my newly natural hair in twist outs and wash-n-go's for the summer. I have been using shea moisture products to maintain moisture throughout the day and to really define my curls! I think these products will help achieve the look of a wash-n-go by helping me to maintain moisture and really show natural does not mean nappy!

This summer, I plan on wearing my Afro-textured hair in braid-outs, twist-outs, twist-out updos and buns. Shea Moisture products will keep my hair conditioned and moisturized so my hair styles will come out super well.

I just cut out my perm in March and discovered the souffle at Target. I wash and go and that will be my routine for the summer. I would love to try these new products as well!

I've been wearing alot of Bantu Knot-outs lately and I think the Anti-Breakage hair Masque will help protect my hair this summer especially if I'm out in the heat because I don't wear my hair in a actual protective style like a bun wigs or weave to protect my ends.

I plan on wearing a lot of wash n go's , twist-outs, braid-outs, up-dos, box braids, and possibly sew-ins. Let's just say I'll be mainly trying to protect my hair from this heat as much as possible! I will use these Shesa Moisture products to help me with these protective styles and help with the breakage that I've been having lately, to help me retain moisture, and the softness and whatever use I can possibly get out of it! lol

Since I am transitioning! I am having a NO HEAT SUMMER!!!! To help maintain my hair I have been doing a lot of Bantu knots, Twist outs, and Braid outs. As far as products I simply use Olive and Vitamin E oil! I am 7mo so far with my transition and due to the fact I am currently in Alaska for a paid internship from May to August, I decide to put in a sew-in! I love becoming natural! I just finish my first year in college and most of my friends when starting college dye or cut their hair for that change phase! Well I want to simply be me! Inside and out! So why not start with my hair! I am loving my journey so far!!

This summer I plan on rocking a lot of twist-outs and buns (I love how these two styles look and they are pretty easy to do). I also may throw in a few sew-ins with an invisible part just to give my natural hair a break. I think these two products will help define my curl pattern while providing moisture for my hair and making the hairstyle 10x's better. 🙂
