Napa Valley 2015

It’s been a while, I know. But I’m back with something sweeter than ever before. Remember that list of my top 5 vacation destinations I wanted to visit in 2015? Well, I’m happy to announce that I can officially cross #2 off my list! With 2015 more than half way done, I’m happy that I’ve at least visited 2 out of my 5 destinations. I’ve held myself accountable for planning and kept my word. Ya’ll know vacation planning is NOT easy!

While in Napa Valley, I was literally in awe of the beauty of the region and how mass the land in the area truly was. Just close your eyes and envision thousands of acres just going on for miles and miles and miles, ok you get it. Plus add mountains and perfect weather–It was really breathtaking.

In wine country, we got the opportunity to visit a very special vineyard in Yorkville Highlands of Anderson Valley. I wrote about Theopolis Vineyards and their exceptional Rose on the blog earlier this year.  On our visit we got to attend the official harvest and bottle release party for Theo’s new Pinot Noir. The wine was delicious and the setting was more than we could have asked for. Thank you Theo for having us for such an incredible event & congratulations on yet another fantastic wine.

On the last leg of our trip, we also got the chance to hop around San Francisco for a bit, which wasn’t part of my initial travel destination list but was definitely an added bonus.

Journey with me back a couple days ago to one heck of an epic vacation in wine country.
