Today was the epitome of work perks! I got the opportunity to attend my second Marchesa fashion presentation. There is something so special about fashion presentations versus your traditional runway show. Presentations are more intimate and you really get the chance to see the product up close and personal. Marchesa’s FW 17 Bridal Collection turns to Eos, the Greek goddess of the dawn. Rising each morning with the sun, Eos, with her delicate rosy fingertips and eternal gown woven with flowers, serves as an inspiration for the collection.
We saw gorgeous off-the-shoulder gowns with classic fit-and-flare silhouettes featuring elegant satin-faced organza draped bodices and beautiful nude and blush hues with tons of tonal sheerness and transparent elements. I particularly liked the strapless column gowns with the lace.
