IG and Tik Tok has been full of content creators dropping their hot takes / guilty pleasures and it’s been so much fun learning more about the people whose videos we see everyday. I figured I’d hop on the trend and see what we all have in common!

1. A Spotless House

When I say spotless, I mean spotless! Even though cleaning is a figurative and literal chore, the end result truly makes it worth it. I also feel like when your space is clean, you get to fall back in love with the items/decor you’ve acquired over the years. When the comforter is tossed all over the place, you forget how much you loved the pattern when you first saw it. When there’s stains and dishes on the counter, you forget how unique the marble is. A spotless house is like a dopamine boost that segways into reflection and gratitude.

2. A Crisp Energy Drink

The adjectives are really the paid actors in this list because emphasis on crisp. As a wife, mother and full time content creator, I am in a constant tug of war with having enough energy to complete the next task. I don’t drink an energy drink everyday but they are my secret midday pick-me- up. Lately, I’ve been loving the Alani brand – between the cute colors and the flavors, I have been completely sold. Fresh out the fridge is key, it’s refreshing and functional – now I’m ready to chase these kids around the house.

3. Five Star Hotels & Pricey Dinners

Listen, clearly I love a home cooked meal and a cozy night in but when it’s time for a treat – I fully embrace it! I love the quiet peek into luxury that a fancy hotel or restaurant gives you. It’s temporary, but for a night (or if we’re lucky, a few nights ) you and your family get to be catered to without one of you doing the catering. Fresh towels and linens that you didn’t have to launder, dishes you don’t have to wash and chocolates on your pillow. I actually just went to the new Fouquet’s boutique hotel in New York during fashion week and it was truly the reset that I needed – and this time I was solo so it was a TRUE reset (IYKYK).

4. A Fresh Delivery on the Porch

We all know the weekly (sometimes twice a week) Amazon delivery is a must, but in recent times, I actually have been exploring more of what can be delivered instead of picked up. We don’t really do a lot of takeout at my home, but because of that we buy a LOT of groceries. I do enjoy going to the supermarket but sometimes I know exactly what I need and it’s so much more convenient to get it delivered – I get an hour or two back to myself and have more energy to put towards cooking. I also have a wine subscription which I must say is at the top of the list of my favorite deliveries. At a time where there is so much to do, I think more of us need to embrace convenience, it’s not always the cheapest option but there are those days where you have to alleviate stress wherever you can and a delivery does just that.

5. Being in Bed by 7:30pm

This one is probably is probably more controversial, especially to all of the night owls reading this but I absolutely love going to bed early. It’s not so much going to bed early as it is waking up early. When I’m in bed before 8pm, I’m up at 4am seizing the day. I used to feel like waking up before 6am was insanity, but as my life got busier I realized one of the best ways to stay grounded and accomplish everything I want to, is to be up before the sun (and 90% of everyone I know). I don’t have to worry about responding to texts/emails, no one will be asking me questions for at least another two hours and I just get to check in with God and myself – uninterrupted. The way you start your day really sets the tone and if you carve out what I consider to be “sacred time” it’ll not just change your mornings but it’ll change your entire life.

Let me know which of these resonated the most with you, and drop your list of “Unfortunately, I do love” below!
