These little bites are nostalgic, ridiculously easy to make, and—if you ask my husband—the best snack ever. I mean, can you really go wrong with buttery Pillsbury crescent rolls wrapped around juicy little beef smokies? Add a sprinkle of Everything But the Bagel seasoning and a side of nacho cheese sauce for dipping, and you’ve got an instant crowd-pleaser.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • Quick & Easy – Just three main ingredients and a few minutes of prep!
  • Irresistible Flavor – Buttery crescent rolls, smoky beef sausages, and that bold, savory crunch from Everything But the Bagel seasoning.
  • Perfect for Any Occasion – Whether it’s a party, a casual snack, or even a last-minute appetizer, these never disappoint.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • 1 pack (14 oz) little beef smokies
  • 1 tbsp Everything But the Bagel seasoning
  • 1 cup nacho cheese sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prep: Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the Dough: Open the crescent roll can and separate the dough into triangles. Slice each triangle into three smaller pieces.
  3. Wrap & Roll: Take a little beef smokie and wrap it in one of the crescent roll slices, starting at the wider end and rolling toward the tip. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  4. Season It Up: Sprinkle Everything But the Bagel seasoning over the top of each wrapped smokie.
  5. Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.
  6. Serve with Nacho Cheese: Warm up your nacho cheese sauce and serve it on the side for dipping. Trust me, this takes the whole thing to the next level!

Ingredients

  • 1 can 8 oz Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • 1 pack 14 oz little beef smokies
  • 1 tbsp Everything But the Bagel seasoning
  • 1 cup nacho cheese sauce store-bought or homemade

Pro Tips

  • Don’t Overwrap – A single layer of dough is perfect. Too much, and you’ll lose that perfect balance of buttery, flaky crust to juicy sausage.
  • Make Ahead – Assemble these up to a day in advance, store them in the fridge, and bake when ready.
  • Upgrade Your Dip – Swap nacho cheese for honey mustard, spicy sriracha mayo, or a classic ketchup-mustard mix for variety.

These Everything But the Bagel Pigs in a Blanket are hands down one of my favorite quick appetizers to whip up, and they never last long! My husband would eat the whole tray if I let him. Let me know if you give these a try—drop a comment below or tag me on Instagram @natashagreene!
