Easy, fast way to curl straightened natural hair

Cold weather has arrived in NYC and other than being depressed that darkness is now upon us at 5pm sharp it’s also refreshing to know that this is the best time of year for my hair! Yes, you heard that right! I’ve mastered the art of combating dryness in the winter and creating silky, shiny healthy hair during the toughest hair months of the year. My honey treatment was definitly my best friend in this process.

I love this time of year, because I get the opportunity to wear my hair straight–and not just straight for a day or two…I usually rock a silk out for about 2 to 3 weeks before washing my hair (I know, I’m pushing it) but this curling technique I use really helps me in achieving longer straight hair time.

Check out my turorial on creating sexy, wavy curls on straight natural hair. This entire look took me about 15 mintues and is so easy! If you’re afraid of curling irons and curl wands then this tutorial is for you.
