Life Update: Marriage & Work

Hi guys! I just wanted to jump on here and give you guys a semi life update. If you’ve been following the blog this past year and some of my wedding posts then you know my last life update was that I got engaged! My husband and I tied the knot on October 8th, 2018. I can’t believe it’s been over a month since our wedding. It was quite literally the best day of our lives. All the planning and anticipation was totally worth it. I listened to all the advice I received while engaged and just let myself completely enjoy the day. I let go of all the planning and controlling of all the details and was present in every single moment. It truly was spectacular. Our wedding venue, Park Chateau, made it an absolute breeze to just let go and be in the present moment. They took care of every single detail and made us all feel so special on our wedding day (even after, my bridal attendant Pat still writes me sweet messages on IG).

Being a married woman has been freaking awesome! Hubby and I have invested in a few things to spruce up our current apartment since we aren’t doing a big move into a house just yet so that’s been fun! In addition the holiday’s are upon us yet again and we are getting ready to travel my hometown in Florida for both Thanksgiving and Christmas this year. We are really excited to get to some warmer weather because the weather in the North East has been so -so, just last week we got 4 inches of snow.

All in all life has been pretty special lately. I feel abundantly blessed to be married to the man of my dreams. Not only is my personal life shinning but I’m also loving my professional life as well. Recently, I’ve had some really great experiences with my company, Macy’s. Since being apart of the Macy’s Style Crew ambassador program I’ve had the opportunity to be involved in our holiday gifting social media campaign and not to mention be one of the faces of the crew. That lends itself to loads of visibility internally within my company and I have to say it feels good to be recognized for the work I do.

I can’t believe I’m coming up on my one year anniversary as Marketing Director! That too seems like such a milestone. I remember days passed where I use to yearn for this position so badly and now I’m celebrating a year in. God is amazing and he’s shown me that If I just have faith and allow him to order my steps that everything will work out the way it’s suppose to. Don’t get me wrong, every day isn’t perfect and I have my ups and downs and moments of doubt and questions but over all in the grand scheme of things I’m so happy and grateful for where life has taken me up until this point. With just a few short months until 30 years old I am really proud of myself and where I am in my life.

I cant’ wait to see what the future holds and I hope that you guys will stick around for the journey.

Love always,

Natasha
