Bourbon BBQ Glazed Ribs

Tis’ the season for good barbecue ribs, even better if their bourbon bbq glazed pork ribs! I save my ribs for summertime specifically because that’s when I enjoy eating them most. Ribs just scream summertime to me. Making ribs on the grill is amazing but it takes some expertise to get them just right. These oven-baked bourbon bbq glazed pork ribs are insanely delicious. They are tender and the flavor is explosive. I’m not one for ribs that are hard and chewy, some folks like their ribs with a little bite, that’s not what you’re getting with this recipe.

The slow cook method literally tenderizes and softens the ribs and they are fall off of the bone tender. The bourbon bbq glaze is the perfect combination of sweet and savory and complements the ribs perfectly. Be sure to not skip slow cooking the ribs, that’s the magic in this recipe. You also need all that delicious broth the ribs make from being covered in the oven and steaming. That’s the base to the bourbon bbq glaze.

This recipe takes about three hours but trust me, it’s well worth the time investment. You will be really happy with the results once it’s all said and done.

I would double this recipe and make a huge batch because this will be gone in the blink of an eye. Pair the ribs with some baked macaroni and cheese and you’re in business! If you make this recipe be sure to tag me @asiliglamcooks.

Can you make this in a crockpot or InstaPot?
If so, which would be better?
