taste buds satisfied. My husband appreciates a good dip, and this is one of his favorites and such
a classic “treat”–my Chili Cheese Dip with Velveeta. This creamy and zesty dip is a crowd-
pleaser and takes only minutes to prepare, which is my favorite part! I love to cook but on game
day, I want to enjoy the game too. I’m not saying my dip changes the outcomes of games, but our
team always wins when I make this dip, talk about coincidence.
Ingredients:
1lb (16 oz) of Velveeta cheese, cubed
1 can (10 oz) of Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies, undrained
1 pound of ground beef
1 teaspoon of chili powder
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of onion powder
1 teaspoon of paprika
1 teaspoon of kosher salt
Tortilla chips, for dipping
Instructions:
Brown ground beef in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
Drain excess fat and season to taste with garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, paprika and kosher salt.
In a medium-sized saucepan or slow cooker, melt the Velveeta cheese over low heat, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
Once the cheese is melted, add the undrained can of tomatoes and chilies. Stir until well combined.
Add ground beef to the cheese and tomato mixture and stir.
Continue to heat the dip until everything is warm and well blended.
Serve the Chili Cheese Dip warm with tortilla chips for dipping.
