Loaded with fresh veggies and flavorful chicken sausage, my Sheet Pan Chicken Sausage Dinner is sure to please even the pickiest eaters.

Let’s be honest, we all have a million things on our to do list, finding time to cook nutritious meals for the family can be challenging. Between work, school, and various activities, it’s no wonder that many people resort to doordash or uber eats. But what if I told you that there’s a simple solution that’s both easy and healthy? Enter: the sheet pan dinner.
Sheet pan meals have been gaining popularity for their simplicity and versatility. They offer a convenient way to prepare a complete meal with minimal effort and cleanup. And what’s not to love about throwing everything onto a single pan and letting the oven do all the work for you?
One of my favorite sheet pan dinners is this Easy and Family-Friendly Sheet Pan Chicken Sausage Dinner. Loaded with fresh veggies and flavorful chicken sausage, it’s a wholesome meal that’s sure to please even the pickiest eaters. But the best part? It takes just minutes to prepare, leaving you with more time to spend with your loved ones.
To make this delicious meal, start by preheating your oven to 375°F. Then, simply chop up your favorite vegetables. I love using colorful bell peppers, zucchini, red onion, and broccoli, but feel free to get creative and use whatever veggies you have on hand.
Next, toss the veggies with a bit of olive oil, salt, pepper, and your favorite herbs and spices. Spread them out evenly on a large sheet pan, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. This allows the veggies to roast and caramelize beautifully.
Now, it’s time to add the star of the show: chicken sausage. I prefer using pre-cooked chicken sausage for convenience, but you can use any type of sausage you like. Simply slice the sausage into rounds and scatter them over the veggies on the sheet pan.
Pop the sheet pan into the oven and let everything roast for about 20-25 minutes, or until the veggies are tender and the sausage is heated through. And that’s it! In less than 30 minutes, you’ll have a delicious and nutritious meal ready to serve.
But the benefits of sheet pan dinners go beyond just their ease and convenience. They’re also incredibly versatile. You can customize this recipe to suit your family’s tastes by using different veggies, proteins, and seasonings. Plus, since everything cooks together on one pan, cleanup is a breeze.
Not to mention, sheet pan meals are a great way to sneak in extra servings of vegetables for the whole family. Roasting veggies brings out their natural sweetness and enhances their flavor, making them irresistible even to the little ones.
