Easy Lasagna

This easy lasagna recipe is the ultimate comfort food, perfect for Sunday nights when you want a delicious, hearty meal with minimal effort.

Ah, Sunday nights. The weekend is winding down, and the thought of facing Monday’s hustle has you craving something warm, comforting, and oh-so-satisfying. But here’s the catch: you’re not exactly in the mood to spend hours in the kitchen. Enter: the easiest lasagna recipe you’ll ever make—perfect for those cozy, laid-back Sunday dinners with the family.

Let’s be real for a moment. Lasagna has this reputation of being a bit of a kitchen diva. Layers of pasta, meat, cheese, and sauce—it all sounds like a lot, right? But what if I told you this recipe gives you all the comfort of a classic lasagna without any of the drama? Yep, you heard that right. No need to break a sweat over dinner tonight.

Why This Lasagna is the Hero Your Sunday Needs

First of all, this lasagna is a breeze to put together. We’re talking about minimal prep, easy layering, and a whole lot of flavor. It’s the kind of dish that makes you feel like you’ve really treated yourself (and your family), without actually working that hard. And isn’t that the dream?

Plus, this lasagna is super customizable. Want to sneak in some veggies? Go for it. Prefer a meatier bite? Add that extra layer of ground beef or sausage. It’s your lasagna, and it should be as easygoing as your Sunday night.

The Recipe Breakdown

Okay, let’s get down to business. Here’s how you’ll make this easy lasagna that’s going to have everyone at the table going back for seconds (and maybe thirds).

Ingredients:

  • Lasagna noodles (no need to boil—time savers, we love you!)
  • Your favorite marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade, we’re not judging)
  • Ground beef or sausage (or a mix of both if you’re feeling fancy)
  • Ricotta cheese (because creamy is dreamy)
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese (the more, the better)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (for that extra cheesy kick)
  • A little bit of alfredo sauce because it adds so much flavor

Directions:

  1. Brown the Meat: In a large skillet, brown your ground beef or sausage. Drain any excess fat and mix in your marinara sauce. Let it simmer for a few minutes to marry those flavors.
  2. Layer it Up: Grab your favorite baking dish and start with a layer of sauce at the bottom. Add a layer of uncooked lasagna noodles, followed by more sauce, dollops of ricotta, and a generous sprinkle of mozzarella and Parmesan. Repeat until you’re out of ingredients or your dish is full.
  3. Bake and Relax: Cover with foil and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for about 30 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for another 20 more minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  4. Serve and Enjoy: Let it cool for a few minutes (if you can wait that long) before slicing into it. Pair it with a simple salad or garlic bread if you’re feeling extra.

  • Kosher salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup of Alfredo sauce
  • 12 sheets no boil lasagna noodles
  • 16 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups mozarella cheese shredded

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 375
  • In a skillet or dutch oven add ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until well browned, then season to taste with powdered seasoning.

  • To assemble, spread 1 1/2 cups of meat sauce in the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish. Arrange 6 noodles lengthwise over meat sauce. Spread with one half of the ricotta cheese mixture. Add alfredo sauce then top with a third of mozzarella cheese slices. Spoon 1 1/2 cups meat sauce over mozzarella. Repeat layers, and top with remaining mozzarella.
