Whether you’re hosting a couple of friends or just the family, this spread is the perfect Thursday night football menu and will make game night feel like an event, without too much fuss in the kitchen.
Let’s start with wings because no football menu is complete without them. I made oven-baked lemon pepper parmesan wings and classic buffalo wings so there’s something for every flavor profile. Pro tip: bake everything on wire racks so they get extra crispy without the mess of frying.
Next up, Southwest egg rolls—crispy, cheesy, and perfect for dunking in creamy ranch or salsa. You can make these ahead and just reheat before kickoff. Then there’s the MVP of the night: a chicken and shrimp sheet pan quesadilla that feeds a crowd. Lay out your tortillas, layer the filling, top with cheese, bake, and slice into squares for easy grab-and-go bites.
For a creamy side, spinach dip is always a win. Keep it warm in a small slow cooker so it stays melty until halftime. And don’t forget dessert: I jumped on the viral trend and made spooky cookies by combining sugar ghost cookies with chocolate chip cookie dough. They’re as festive as they are delicious.
Hosting tip: set everything out buffet-style with plenty of napkins, small plates, and a stack of cups by the drinks. Keep your kitchen trash can accessible so clean-up is painless, and light a candle or two to make it cozy.
With this menu, you’ll have everyone cheering before kickoff. It’s the perfect balance of fun, flavor, and ease—exactly what Thursday night football deserves.

Everything looks delicious. I can’t find the correct cookie recipe but really hope to make everything soon! I’m a new follower but love your ideas.
Hi the recipe linked is for homemade chocolate chip cookies, the recipe from my video is not a recipe, it’s just 2 store bought cookies combined and baked. I used the Pillsbury seasonal ghost cookies (they have the pumpkin ones too) and the tollhouse cookie dough, you put them together and bake according to package instructions, so good!
