Tender ground pork and chopped shrimp and wonton wrappers make up this easy and authentic Chinese-inspired dumpling recipe.

Day 3 of 6 days of Asian inspired takeout favorites
I was casually scrolling on Tiktok when I was stopped dead in my tracks by @cookwithdanaa shrimp and pork dumplings. She said that these are the dumplings they make in her dad’s Chinese restaurant and that’s all I needed to hear. Since I knew I wanted to do 6 days of Asian takeout favorites, I had to include steamed dumplings.
When we get Chinese takeout, we usually order a side of dumplings. I have never met a dumpling that I didn’t like and I had no idea it was actually this easy to replicate them. I have to be honest when I say this was BETTER than takeout. The meat was so tender and juicy and the dumpling literally melted in my mouth. I just couldn’t believe I made these.
