Turkey Zoodle Stir Fry
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 small red onion sliced
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes sliced
- 1 tbsp garlic minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sriatcha
- 1 tbsp brown sugar or any sweeter of choice
- 1 lb of spiraled zucchini
- Splash of chicken stock if needed zucchini reduces liquid as it cooks so a sauce will be created once it steams
- 1 cup frozen veggies of choice broccoli, peas or any stir fry blend
- 1 tbsp olive oil or any neutral cooking oil of choice
Instructions
- To a nonstick skillet or wok on medium heat, add olive oil
- Brown turkey meat for a minute or two then add in red onions, tomatoes, and garlic stirring well to combine
- To the pan, add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sriatcha and brown sugar stirring well to combine with ground turkey
- Next, add zuchinni spirals and give everything a nice mix
- Add in your frozen veggies of choice and cover the pan and allow it to steam for 5 minutes or until veggies are tender
- A sauce will be created from the liquid the zucchini gives off, if you need a bit more sauce add a splash of chicken stock and continue to cook until desired consistency is achieved
- Serve as is or with carb of choice like rice or noodles
